Deep yellow on lower petals. 8-10 large blooms open at a time. Very early. Award of Merit at Southport Gladiolus Show in England 1932. Only one bulb was sent over. ORANGE LILY. (K) (Dec) (65) Large somewhat ruffled, orange chrome yellow flower. Somewhat hooded. Very pretty. ORANGE QUEEN. (Pf) (Ex) (Com) (Dec) (Prim. Grand.) (75-80) Beautiful light orange, deeper at edge of petals, orange red lines in the throat. Tall, clean grower. 5-7 blooms open. One of the very best commercial varieties grown. Very popular with everyone. ORANGE SOVEREIGN. (Steves) Light orange buff suffused salmon toward tip of petals Clear yellow throat. Does not fade or burn in sun. 8-10 large ruffled flowers open on very tall, straight spike. Early. Award of Merit at British Gladiolus Society Show 1932 from only one bulb sent over. See page 24.)
