A pair of percussion pistols, Carl Pirko, Vienna, circa 1840, Octagonal barrels with multi-rifled bores in 12 mm calibre with patent breech blocks, dovetailed front sights and adjustable rear sights. Each with silver bands above muzzle and chamber, on barrel tops engraved signatures "CARL PIRKO IN WIEN". Florally engraved percussion locks with single set triggers and repeated signatures. Walnut stocks with chequered butts and engraved iron furnitures. Barrels and furnitures partly with traces of corrosion. Length 43 cm.
