It is not adapted to the close shearing necessary for a hedge, but can be used as a specimen plant. Flowers are produced in small terminal clusters of 3 to 12. Usu- ally only one or two are open at one time. The brilliant orange- yellow color of the 2-inch flowers and the large number of clusters on a vigorous bush produce an attractive display, but not a solid mass of color.
