The sinister characters may declare themselvesfrom the first ; or, for a day or two, the sore may seem but an unusuallyfoul and active sample of the second class, attended with an unusualamount of constitutional disturbance : and then, without any apparentexciting cause, rapid aggravation takes place, in both the local and con-stitutional symptoms; constituting what is ordinarily termed the blackpox.
