Next came the British Congo Co.'s steamer Alhuqiierqne with cargo, and ]Jr. Parke and his company. Mr. Stanley follows in the Portuguese steamer Serpa Pinto^ with about oOO men and the donkeys, and Major Barttelot and Jephsoii bring up tlie rear in another steamer with the remainder of the men.
