Dorsal24-25, originating above 5th or 6th ray of anal, its length -J, or a littleless than J, its distance from head. Anal 30-31, nearer base of caudalthan base of ventral. Pectoral pointed, a little shorter than head, twice GNATHONEMUS. x 103 as long as ventral, extending beyond base of latter. Caudal scaled in itsbasal half, with long, pointed lobes. Caudal peduncle twice as long asdeep, I to f length of head. 55-60 scales in lateral line, ^-^^^^ in trans-verse series on body, g^ in transverse series between dorsal and anal,12 round caudal peduncle.
