The now closed English Rose on the Old Bedford Road in High Town, Luton Bedfordshire, Originally called the Rabbit, the English Rose was one of Lutons oldest pubs and dates back to later to be rebuilt in 1908 It also has the claim to fame of having Diana Dors working there as a barmaid whilst she was married to the landlords son Dennis Hamilton in the 1950s. The latter years saw the pub win many awards from CAMRA for its sales of Real Ales.
