Discussion Studies of the food habits of tame White-tailed Deer (Odocoileus virginianus) and Mule Deer {O. hemionus) indicate that food preferences of tame animals appeared to be similar to those of wild popu- lations (McMahon 1964; Watts 1964; Healy 1971; Neff 1974; Regelin et al. 1976). The author feels there- fore that observations made of our tame animal were similar to those of wild Moose.
