Leaving the park the traveller soon comes to SalemCentre with its great elms forming an archway over thehighway. The town was made from parts of Haverhill,Dracut and Methuen and incorporated in 1752, the charterbeing confirmed by the Masonian Proprietors in through a section of substantial New Hamp-.
