The observatory, as well asthe museum, will work in its double form,firstly as a higher school, and secondly, as acentre of observation of universal interest, andthis is a contingent that the Republic offers tothe civilised world, through it, as that of Cor-doba has already done by means of its wellknown publications, which has also been com-menced in the annals of the observatory of LaPlata, whose publication was suspended on theabsence of its director, Mr. Boeuf. w > ?* ».
