Front door of Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a fine example of muqarna (small pointed niches) above it. This mosque is considered the finest example of Ottoman architecture in the country. Built in the 16th century, it was damaged during the Bosnian War and reconstructed in 1996 with international aid.
