Brazo Blest (Blest arm of Lago Nahuel Huapi) is on the last leg of the Andean Lakes Route between Puerto Varas, Chile, and Bariloche, Argentina. A walk round the lake, through Valdivian Temperate Rain Forest, ascends a 60 m high stairway to the waterfall of Cascada los Cantaros, which tumbles from Lago los Cantaros in a 'hanging valley', out of shot to the left of the view. Walkers, in the care of a guide, then catch a catamaran, which travels across the lake to pick up or deliver other tourists at the Hotel Puerto Blest, behind the camera. The catamaran then continues towards Bariloche, about hours to the west (right of the view).
