The internal tissues of the penis are shown, including the corpora cavernosa (red) and the corpus spongiosum (blue), the latter surrounding the urethra. At bottom are the two testes, with the spermatic ducts (vas deferens) running from the epididymis (brown) on each testis, to the prostate gland (brown, centre right) and into the urethra. These structures supply sperm, seminal fluid and other secretions to form the ejaculate during sexual intercourse.
