United States, California, San Marino, Huntington Library, Art Gallery and Botanical Gardens, accno. 2 girls on bank of earth, one seated & one reclining & holding stick with grapevine twisted around it, face crouching woman with basket of grapes who extends her hand towards the pair (L); young man, seated on grassy bank, holds gun & caresses dog, 2 dead rabbits are under dog's paw, behind him groom holds 2 horses as one drinks from large fountain, 2 dogs in front of groom; beyond figures are bridge, ruined wall or structure & cottage with thatched roof (BRD) picture-frame border with oak leaf within acanthus guilloche This is a made-up set; the panels were acquired from different sources & were almost certainly woven at different times. The borders are a modern addition.
