Rare ancient Egyptian mummy bundle, necropolis of Gebelein, Old Kingdom, 4th - 5th Dynasty (2543-2305 BC). Egyptian Museum, Turin. Grey background. Excavated duting the Tirun museum archaeological mission of 1911, this mummy bundle was found in a rectangular chest. It has never been opened and non destructive tests show thatthe body is in a contarcted position with its head on a double coloumned headrest.
