Sefton Coast Lifeboat Road Formby Point eroding frontal dunes being restored using Christmas trees as sand trapping fences. Formby Point is located north of Liverpool and to the south of the seaside resort of Southport. The site forms a part of the Sefton Coast SSSI and Sefton Coast Special Area of Conservation.
