ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 11, 2017) Aviation Machinist's Mate Airman Trevaughn Whiteman, from Windsor, Conn., conducts maintenance on an afterburner of an F/A-18 Super Hornet engine in the jet shop of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Ike is currently conducting aircraft carrier qualifications during the sustainment phase of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP).
