Lieutenant Joseph H. O'Connell's plane at Kelly Field, San Antonio, Texas was wrecked on November 16 due to taking off without a motor. He lost control of the plane, which then struck the canopy. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. The photograph was taken on December 10, 1918. (50 words)
