A large German Wotan propeller with bullet hole,after 1917 Lacquered laminated wood,the hub with embossed signature "WOTAN PROPELLER,BERLIN O,160 MERCEDES,2750 ... 210 ,EDULZUG,NR 8421". The blades with remains of maker's labels,the hub's drill holes sealed with wax,pressure marks,small repairs,saw groove,one bullet hole in the blade. Diameter 275 cm. Wotan propellers were installed on the agile Fokker DVII-fighter planes which came into use at the Western Front in 1918.
