Clark A SENSATIONAL TRIUMPH IN ROSE GROWING An intense deep scarlet Rose, shaded blackish crimson, color like the sheen of a plum, often 7 inches in diameter and 5 inches deep. It is difficult to form an idea of the beauty and immensity of this phenom- enal Rose until it has been seen in bloom. J. B. Clark has created a great sensation throughout the United States and Europe, and a London daily paper referred to it as 'Triumph of the Rose-Growers' Art.' It is even better than such fine Roses as Richmond, Liberty, Meteor and other famous red kinds. A wonder- fully strong and upright grower, exceedingly vigorous, with splendid and heavy dark bronze-green foliage. The glory of the plant is in its flowers, however, as they are extraordinary in size, full and double, of great depth, and borne freely from the first year, on long, stiff stems. The color is so dazzling as to indicate a new shade of red, wliile the fragrance is very sweet. This Rose has proven hardy, even in Canada, and a genuine treat is in store for every one who plants it. We have a large stock of own-root plants, all* in splen- did condition. Strong, one-year-old plants, 30 cts. each, $1 for 4, $3 per doz.; larger plants, 40 cts. each, postpaid; two-year-old plants, 65 cts. each; extra-heavy, three-year-old plants, $1 each. It resembles Maman Cochet, and, in many respects, is the equal of that variety, only it is several shades lighter in color, and we think this is almost sufficient endorsement of the qualities of this great introduction. Don't miss giving this variety a careful trial. 15 cts. each, 50 cts. for 4; larger size, 20 cts. each, postpaid; two-year-old plants, 40 cts. each; three-year- old plants, 60 cts. each. FT el en
