Thelarger they are, also, the longer and more arching the eye-brows, while their deficiency leaves them short and nearlyhorizontal, as in the engraving of Melancthon, in whom theyare small. They are immensely developed in the accompa-nying engraving of Herschel, whose extraordinary astrono- PHYSICO-PERCEPTIVES VERT LARGE, EYEBROWS LONG AND ARCHED.
