Facts as these, that rather grown individuals have rather undeveloped appendices, I have oftener seen, for inst. in Aca)itliias. The appendix is naked, much more clumsy than in the preceding species, flattened, somewhat roimded on the dorsal side, a/L -/âl^k ^^^ contour is clumsih" clubsliaped; the club is formed b}- the terminal part constituting more than half the length of the i^art to be seen from the back.
