A street artist recycles used plastic cups and melting them down he creates simple shaped plastic statuettes, Cali, Colombia.

A Colombian street artist, Jhón Jairo Morales Bernal, is an author of the original sculpture technique. Collecting and recycling of used plastic cups from the city dustbins allows him to create simple shaped plastic statuettes, usually animals. The technique is based on melting down the plastic cups in fire on a burner. Then he shapes fused plastic mechanically and gives the material a design. The process is closed by sinking a statuette into the cold water. The artist works and sells his work in the Metropolitan Park of Cali, Colombia.
