Boy and girl child laborers are searching for recyclable plastic bags in a garbage dump in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Workers collect recyclable material hidden among rotting meat and vegetables at The Stung Meanchey Landfill in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. They must endure this daily process of sifting through roughly 700 tons of garbage that is delivered to the dump daily to earn their livings. Among the 2000 workers here are 600 child laborers too poor to attend school, which costs about $ USD per month.
