Au bout des plus petites branches ilvient des grapes de bayes dun verd pile, & tie h grofeur dun grospois, attachas à des pédicules dun quart de pouce de long, avec unepetite capfule dentelée. Ces bayes renferment m nombre incertainde petites femences brunes, couvertes dun mucilage : les unes en ontquatre, dautres cinq, & quelques unes en ont fix. Léeorce, &les feuilles de cet Arbre, étant pillées dans un mortier, produifentune écume, dont ou fe frt pour lavt r les bardes & le linge : ellejaunit ce dernier.
