NASA astronaut Rex J. Walheim attached to the International Space Station robotic arm during the first of two spacewalks during mission STS-110 aboard the Atlantis Space Shuttle April 11, 2002. This spacewalk was the first time the station robotic arm was ever used to maneuver space walkers around the station. During this mission Walheim performed two EVAs totaling 14 hours and 5 minutes.
