Though shot in January, some Christmas lights can still be seen in front of houses and hotels on the left. Lights along this stretch of the Herengracht Canal change every winter, because it's part of the scenic boat tour through the Amsterdam Lights Festival. Left and right are chandeliers that are temporary and at the far end there's a lights installation of a man jumping a bridge. The Ambassade Hotel is on the left.
