It may not be generally known that the Do- minion Forestry Branch posts up notices in some twelve different languages and dialects, three of these being in the syllabic characters of the northern Indian tribes. The incident in question was reported by a ranger who stated that trouble had arisen in posting a Chinese notice in a lumber camp manned by Tree Planting on the Prairies.
