A service to commemorate the 65th anniversary of Victory over Japan Day at the Cenotaph in Whitehall in London attended by The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall Prime minister David Cameron, representatives of three military Services, hundreds of veterans of the conflict and members of World War 2 associations. The service paid tribute to thousands of British soldiers who lost their lives in the Far East campaign.
