MEDITERRANEAN SEA (June 6, 2018) Sonar Technican (Surface) Austin Lohse, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78), fires an M4 carbine during a live-fire gunnery exercise. Porter is forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, on its fifth patrol in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe and Africa.
