Jacksons Ope House is in fact five individual linked timber box homes each with a grass roof. They are built on a similar principle to 'Laneway Houses' The site may be dense but in a benign way. These homes are in the very centre of the city of Truro but give the feeling of being in a tranquil place away from city life. The properties have no heating, passive solar are heavily insulated with only 750watts of heat loss even in the depths of winter.
