Bewl Water, Lamberhurst, Kent, UK. 26th Sep, 2017. Sir Malcolm Campbell's 1937 Bluebird K3 takes to the water again for testing after extensive restoration by a small but dedicated team at Filching Manor, Polegate, Sussex. Bewl being local & the largest stetch of water in SE. No full power runs yet but piloted by owner Karl Foulkes Halbard the engine sounded sweet at half throttle on the misty water.
