. There are two scenes on Gemma Augustea. On the upper scene a Roman ruler (possibly emperor Augustus) with laurel wreath above the head. It is surrounded by various gods, such as Neptunus and Jupiter, in the form of an eagle. The woman with the helmet is Roma, the personification of the city of Rome. Victoria left with her car. On the lower scene, two figures are attached to a wooden stake. On the right a man and a woman are taken to their hair.
