One Year Old "Cloud 9" — Spring 1964 Discovered and developed on our own nursery. The ultimate perfection of loveliness in America's favorite small tree! Protected by plant patent #2112, issued Dec. 26, 1961. Extremely prolific and precocious—it is not unusual for a one-year tree to have 15 to 20 bloom buds. There are many reports from all over the country of trees having as many as 75 to 90 blooms the first year after transplanting! Has been checked out and enthusiastically accepted by leading nurserymen from Georgia to Massachusetts, and from Missouri to Michigan. The bracts (petals) are oval and overlapping, giving the blossoms a pleasing disk-like effect. The habit of growth is spreading. The tree tries to assume the delightful horizontal branching of native Dogwoods found growing in deep shady woods. Don't wait forever for White Dogwood to bloom. Use "CLOUD 9," and have blooms from the very first year.
