Butterfly lands on the frog's head INDONESIA HILARIOUS images show a Tawny Coster butterfly perched like a living hat on the head of a flying frog. Photographed in Indonesia, the butterfly?s two-inch wingspan covers the entire head of this four-inch glider frog. This species of frog usually lives on trees or branches and possesses the ability to glide, which means they can descend at an angle less than 45° relative to the ground. They are known to glide as far as 40 or 50 feet as they descend by stages from the treetops to vegetation lower down. The images were captured by Indonesian wildlife photographer Ridho Arifuddin using his Canon 550D DSLR camera mounted with a Sigma 180 mm lens. ?I conceptualised this moment. I deliberately put the butterfly on top of the frog's head very carefully so that it wouldn't fly and the frog wouldn't jump,? he said. ?What I like most about this picture is that they feel extraordinary. ?As tender as this moment is, it is also hilarious because the butterfly kept walking on the frog?s head while he sat there confused, trying to figure out what was ENDS
