Light pink or yellow flowers are iceplant aka ice plant carpobrotus aequilaterus. Magenta flowers are sea fig carpobrotus chilensis, although where the plants are more pink, this is a hybrid of sea fig and highway iceplant It is believed that the ice plants along the Pacific shore are not native to North America but came from Africa, although some have posited that these plants are native to Chile.
