Cw 6608 Fish Shack Amble in the evening Amble is a small town on the north east coast of Northumberland in North East England. It was a former mining and fishing town, with most of the signs of the mining having disappeared though there is still a small fishing fleet that works out of the harbour. The town of Amble has been undergoing a renaissance in recent years and is now considered a trendy and fashionable place to live, being recently named by the Sunday Times Newspaper as one of the places to live in 2019. One of the reasons for this is the wide range of places to eat, with an accent on fish. This is the “Fish Shack”, literally a wooden building on the harbour side.
