Milky Way over Qinhai Observation Station, China. Vertical band of the Milky Way in the night sky over the telescope domes at Qinhai Observation Station, in Delinha, Qinghai Province, on the Tibetan Plateau in China. The Milky Way is our galaxy seen from the inside, forming a band of stars and nebulae stretching across the sky. This astronomy site is at an elevation of 3200 metres.
