This was the condition of affairswhen Mr. Moore arrived, and his pic-tures are faithful delineations of the scenes to which all had become fairlyaccustomed. The Third New Hamp-shire and the Forty-eighth Xew Yorkwith the officers and crews of the men-of-war in Port Royal bay proved tobe his best patrons.
