Hapuku (Polyprion oxygeneios), 18th-century artwork. This fish is found off the western coast of South America, the coasts of southern Australia, and the coasts of New Zealand. This watercolour was painted by British artist Sydney Parkinson () on Captain James Cook's first voyage to the Pacific (1768-1771) in HMS Endeavour. This artwork is part of the collections held at the Natural History Museum, London, UK.
