One to One and One-half Bushels to the Acre. Sow when the Apple is in bloom, and repeat as frequently as necessary until within fifty days of frost. In field culture sow in drills at three feet apart. In garden culture, when the cultivation is done by hand, the rows may be at 24 inches. The seeds should be sown in such quantity as under ordinary circumstances to warrant one Bean vine to every four inches. If closer than this their production will be impaired. On strong soil they do best at a greater distance. Yield about 125 to 150 bushels of green pods per acre. For Express charges paid by customer, or small seeds Postage paid by us, see inside of cover.
