Orbed red underwing skipper butterfly (Spialia orbifer), also know as the Hungarian skipper, resting on a small plant in a patch of dry scrub in late summer. This species is found in central, eastern and southern Europe and further afield in Asia as far as Korea. Photographed in Montenegro in August.
