Chocolate pod disease in green beans. Samples of green bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) plants with their pods showing the symptoms of chocolate pod disease. This disease, caused by a virus, causes unsightly defects, such as discolouration and curling. It is thought that one of the main viruses responsible is the clover yellow vein virus (CYVV).
