Shea (McGredy. 1918) Brilliant madder-red, shot with glowing scarlet, the outer petals show a deep rose shading on an orange base; very free with a distinct perfume. $ each. Mrs. Fred Searl (Dickson & Sons, 1918) A superb Rose of very large size and globular form, of fawny shell-pink, the reflex of the petals a warm silvery- carmine, free-flowering; strongly tea-scented. $ each. Mrs. Mackellar (Dickson & Sons, 1916) In strong habit of growth and freedom of flowering this beautiful new Rose, which we have had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with in our trial grounds for the past five years, will compare favorably with such a strong grow- ing variety as Caroline Testout. In color it is a distinct light lemon-yellow, shading to almost creamy-white in warm weather. It has large flowers with full high cen- tres of splendid build, a valuable Rose in every way.
