Grand Postal Building Bangkok


The Grand Postal Building is a conference and meetings venue in Bangkok. Built in 1935 during the era of King Ananda Mahidol It was centre for post and telecommunication services and also acts as the Post and Telegraph Department head office. The T-shaped 4-storey building was designed by Thai architect Jit Sen Aphaiwong in European Neo Classicism Architectural Design, regarded by most as a classic masterpiece Designated as a historical site in 2004 Recently restored and officially reopened on 4th August 2013 by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
