One of these spurs is called the Castellated Ridge. A potent reason for this is, no doubt, the extreme excellance, comfort and refinement thereof. A notable exampleof all this is found in the Mt. Pleasant House, which occupies an advantageous site on the plain of the Ammonoosuc River, about equi-distant between Crawfords and Fabyans though off to the right, fronting the Presidential Range.
