Graves of Signal Corps men attached to the 60th Infantry captured in Lieutenant Fox's photograph. On November 10th, the men ran out of telephone wire while advancing and were forced to halt their progress amidst heavy machine gun fire. They were setting up a radio set when they were shot and killed. Their bodies were laid to rest at Charmois Castle grounds, near Charmois, Meurthe et Moselle, France.
