In the care of his Indian congregations he wasunremitting. A new edition of the Indian Prayer Bookhad been printed through the generosity of Sir WilliamJohnson in 1769. It had been revised and editedcarefully by Col. Daniel Claus, Sir Williams son-in-law,and the Rev. Dr. Henry Barclay. It was issued Abstract S. P. G., 1771, p. 26.
