Itwidens the scope of therapeutic resources to be now able to obtainthese results with attachments for coil currents. Experiments are being made on a most elaborate scale in Lon-don, with high-frequency electrical currents, in the treatment of con-sumption. It is stated that some remarkable results have been experiments, for the most part, have been conducted by J. Bokenham, an eminent West End surgeon, in the course of hisprivate practice, but with the knowledge and approval of leadingconsumption specialists. Dr. Bokenham has had fitted up a mostelaborate apparatus for the production of electricity in the particularform in which it is used, the net result of which is that a current of80,000 volts is produced, of such high frequency and administered.
