Like his father,he is no blind adherent to party lines or measures,but is independent in thought and action, giving hissupport to the principles he believes best adapted toconserve the interests of the greatest number, and tothose men on whose ability and integrity he can bestrely, under whatever party banner they may be en-rolled.
